Superlok Relief Valves

With cracking pressures ranging from 10 PSI to 6,000 PSI, Superlok relief valves are a great option for bleeding excess pressure from a system. These valves are designed in a way that allows the system to build pressure to a specified point, then gradually open (relative to the pressure overage) to try and keep the pressure at or below the specified value.

The SRVL is the low pressure variant. It allows for 10 -250 PSI cracking ranges, with a maximum body limit of 300 PSI.

The SRVH on the other hand uses a few different interchangeable springs for an available cracking range of 225 - 6,000 PSI. This valve also has a much higher body limit of 6,000 PSI

Connection Types

Both the SRVH and SRVL versions of this valve are available with male NPT, female NPT, Superlok i-Fitting compression tube connections, or a combination of two of the three options. If you need a specific pairing, ask our customer care team. We may be able to assist you to find the right part.

What is Special About Relief Valves?

These valves can be use in a "vent to atmosphere" configuration, or plumbed to a remote location or capture reservoir. This is especially critical for systems that handle dangerous or damaging gasses or liquids as the media that is bled off can be recaptured efficiently.

It is important to note that relief valves are not regulators even though the can be used to regulate pressures. The easy way to distiguish them is by looking at whether the critical pressure is up stream or down stream. A regulator would monitor down stream pressure and only allow as much as is set by the user. Alternatively, a relief valve monitors the upstream pressure and opens to release extra pressure build up.

Why Choose Superlok Relief Valves?

Choosing a Superlok relief valve means you're choosing quality and innovation. Don't forget, any Superlok compression-end relief valve will have the built-in gap gauge technology! You won't be able to find this kind of advancement on a relief valve elsewhere, and you'll never have to worry about over-tightening or under-tightening your relief valve. If you need more information on our relief valves, call us anytime, or contact us online.
